Preliminary review of available data for ecosystem accounting of terrestrial ecosystems of Armenia
Our analysis showed the following:
– Until now, at the national level, the task of creating ecosystem accounting, including a full accounting of the state of ecosystems and ecosystem services, has not been set;
– There is enough of data available for the territory of Armenia to start a pilot project to develop a methodology for ecosystem accounting including ECOSYSTEM EXTENT, ECOSYSTEM CONDITION and ECOSYSTEM SERVICES.
